Nomadic, nostalgic, and niche, the Bus Collective is excelling in sustainability and novelty with one bold move. This new resort hotel, utilizing old public buses, has opened for bookings, with stays set to commence on December 1st. The ingenious and alluring concept occupies an 8,600 sq m property adjacent to the famous Changi Village Hawker Centre. The resort consists of 20 decommissioned Scania public buses, formerly operated by SBS Transit, now reborn as luxury suites boasting aesthetically pleasing features such as marble tops and rain showers. Some rooms even offer lavish bathtubs.

Once inside, it is challenging to envision the space as a refurbished bus, except for reminders in the form of original bus parts, including windows, driver seats, and steering wheels, retained as room features. The spacious suites are furnished with a king-size bed and a sofa bed in a 45-sq m space. Each room boasts a unique configuration, ranging from bunk beds to one with a wheelchair-accessible toilet located just outside the room. The location is in proximity to attractions such as the Changi East Boardwalk and Changi Chapel & Museum.
