Just to grab more attention a Saudi Arabian artist started hand-painting his $500,000 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ on the streets of Monaco

Monaco is the undisputed supercar capital of the world. It’s the only place on earth where a flashy Lamborghini will simply fail to turn heads and attract attention, even if it’s a flagship model finished in a bespoke paint by Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program. But the whole idea of driving a supercar in Monaco is to make tourists reach for their cameras. A Saudi Arabian national decided to do something really whacky to turn his Lamborghini into an attention magnet. He made his $500,000 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ stand out from the rest by hand-painting lines and geometrical figures on it!

The Aventador SVJ owner is a famous artist from Saudi Arabia named Abdullah Qandeel and he parked the hand-painted supercar in front of the Hotel de Paris in Monaco. A video on a car spotting YouTube channel shows people gathering around Lambo to check out its wild hand-painted look. And it’s not just the bodywork but also the beautiful interior of the SVJ that got the brush-painting treatment by the artist. Everything including the dashboard panel, center console, steering wheel, door cards, and even the armrest has figures painted on them.

To make things even more interesting, Qandeel even gave a live session of hand-painting his Lamborghini with a brush in front of the hotel in Monaco with at least another person joining in to help the artist. Exotic cars hand-painted by famous artists are nothing new. BMW Art Cars like the Alexander Calder-designed 1975 BMW 3.0 CSL is very famous and often travel the world for different exhibitions. But do you think this hand-painted Aventador SVJ is worthy of being deemed as a piece of art? Tell us your views.
